The Flying Spur is available with a 542 horsepower turbocharged V8 from Porsche, a 626 horsepower W12, or a new twin-turbo V6 plug-in hybrid engine with a combined 536 horsepower. The new plug-in hybrid model, which will be available in 2022, can go around 25 miles on battery power alone, but in most circumstances, the electric motor and gas engine will operate in tandem to provide rapid acceleration. The Flying Spur Hybrid offers all of the characteristics you’d expect from a top-tier luxury vehicle, with the extra bonus of being less thirsty at the pump and entirely quiet when you accelerate away from a halt (as long as you can resist the temptation to bury your foot in the gas pedal).

How spacious is the Flying Spur? The ride quality and comfort are great. Both rows of chairs are well-shap and have plenty of adjustability. The cushioning is a little hard, but it contributes to the chairs feeling supportive. The heated and ventilated seats on the Flying Spur include a slider that lets you to direct the heat and ventilation toward your back or the seat bottom. The four-zone temperature control is effective, with silent air movement via the vents.
The ride quality is stiff and not as comfortable as that of other competitors. It’s not harsh in any way, and the tweaking will most likely improve the Flying Spur’s handling. There was not a single vibration throughout our test. Wind and traffic noise are also minimal. The Flying Spur is whisper-quiet inside, even on the highway.
