Lamborghini Huracan Black. The Lamborghini Huracan’s V-10 engine, razor-sharp handling, and commanding presence dominate any cars-and-coffee gathering it rumbles into, even after ten years of production. It competes against a formidable group of luxury automobiles, including the Ferrari F8 Tribute, 296GTB, and 812 Superfast. McLaren 765LT and 720S; and Aston Martin DBS, yet it is as exciting. The Huracán is the only vehicle in that alien group powered with a naturally aspirated V-10, which contributes significantly to the Lamborghini’s allure with its distinctive sound. The Huracán has been meticulously refined throughout the years, despite its supercar antiquity (many of its early competitors have been replaced by newer versions). In 2023, Lamborghini will launch a brand-new Tecnica version. The Huracán resembles an old rock star who continues to sell out stadiums. Although it is aging, it remains as vibrant and thrilling as ever.
In 2023, the Lamborghini Huracán lineup will be joined by the Tecnica model. Which gives a road-friendly version of the track-focused STO variant’s thrilling handling at a more affordable price. Make that pricing point somewhat acceptable. It boasts the same 631 horsepower output from its 5.2-liter V-10 as the powerful STO. Also, add to rear-wheel steering and a torque-vectoring rear differential. In 2023, the carmaker will no longer provide rear-wheel drive variants of the Evo coupe and Spyder, which are currently available entirely with all-wheel drive.
Given our expertise with the Italian supercar, the rear-drive Huracán Tecnica would be our preferred model. It resembles the STO in some ways, but its calmer, more road-friendly demeanor, and higher cost outweigh its diminished track performance. The Tecnica is also the only Huracán other than the STO available with rear-wheel drive. Since the Evo and Evo Spyder are only available with all-wheel drive beginning with the 2023 model year.
With rear-wheel steering, and next-generation aerodynamic components. Redesigning the exhaust system, a new brake cooling system, and the same engine power as the STO, the Huracán Tecnica is still fierce. But it is more at home off the track than an STO ever could be.
